Founded in 1986, the Mission of the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce is to promote sound economic growth, assist members with business development, and create awareness related to the outstanding characteristics of our unique South Lake Travis community.
The Chamber supports the community with several events throughout the year. The Annual Awards Banquet (in 2011 it will be our 19th!) recognizes exceptional businesses and individuals. SpringFest offers an opportunity for businesses and the community to come together in a fun all day, outdoor, family-friendly event. There is live-music, a bbq cook-off, and lots of activities for all. In the Fall we host the Birdies by the Lake Golf Tournament and Taste of Lake Travis. It's a fun way to network, have fun, and improve your golf stroke all in one! The Chamber has also developed a program to involve and expose business people with Civic leadership, government and non-profits in the community through Leadership Lake Travis.
Beyond the big annual events, the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce hosts monthly Luncheons, Ribbon Cuttings for new members, and periodic Eggs & Issues events. We provide a great opportunity to become more involved and more in touch with the community.
