Get ready for a night of great music when Jennifer B and the Groove play the Spicewood Vineyards Event Center at 7 p.m. Sept. 21. This talented, energetic, soulful band is led by singer-songwriter Jennifer B, whose powerful high-octane voice lands between Aretha Franklin and Janis Joplin. They play a variety of music, including Blues, Roots-Rock and Americana. With a fresh unique approach to some great classic covers, the band also incorporates new, original songs written by Jennifer, showcasing her gut-wrenching voice and heart-tugging lyrics. Band members include Dr. D, bass guitar and vocals; Jose Barragan, lead guitar, vocals; and Dan Poole, drums and vocals. On sale will be Down Dark Waters, the band's newest release featuring Jennifer's songwriting skills. Special guests on the EP include Van Wilks, Chris Marsh, Jackie Venson, Adrian Myers, and more.
