The Lake Travis ISD District Advisory Board serves as guidance for three Institutes of Study: Veterinary & Agricultural Science; Business, Finance & Marketing; and Math, Engineering & Architecture. Community members are asked to represent these fields as they evaluate the programs and look for ways to improve them and the students for the 21st century. The Wiki page http://lthscte.wikispaces.com/ has past agendas and notes for review which will give you an idea of our past work. We will establish new goals for the coming year as we strive to meet the needs of our Institutes, teachers, students, and community.
Dates for the 2011-12 Advisory Board are tentative and will be verified soon. They are September 15, November 17, January 19, February 16, and April 19. Meetings are held at Lake Travis High School on Thursdays at 7:30 am.
