Discover how Lyndon, Ladybird and their daughters lived with the “Johnson City-Hill Country Holiday” Oct. 12, the first of the Spicewood Arts Society’s popular Art Treks. Participants on the Art Treks travel by bus to venues throughout Central Texas for a deeper understanding of local history and art. The Johnson City tour begins with the LBJ Ranch, including the family cemetery, the Junction School, LBJ’s birthplace, and the Western White House. Lunch (included in the trek price) at East Main Grill in Johnson City. There will be time to gallery hop and shop, visit the Science Museum, and/or tour LBJ’s childhood home. The afternoon ends with wine and cheese at Ron Yates Winery. Price: $120. Limited to 24 participants; sign up by Sept. 28.
